[Story Concept idea]

We've talked with the broadcast media students and had come up with 9 different story ideas for what we wanted to do in out final studio project. We've ultimately chosen the story idea I had suggested, which has the concept of a 4h wall break. Where the main character is a video game character, who had grown possessive of the player.

The story starts where the player had finished playing the main characters game and gifted the final gift to the game character. The player then continues to play another game similar to the main characters game, hearing the voice of another video game character, the main character feels betrayed and angrily throws the wand that was the last gift for her towards the screen at the player.

As the wand flew towards the screen, the want went through it. The main character realizing this, she giggled and got excited from the fact that she can leave her in-game universe and went through the screen.

Having been emerged from the computer, she showed her excitement towards the player and asked him if he was happy to see her. The player in shock on the floor in-front of her, expressed his dismay exclaiming no.

The main character then started to become manic and used the broken wand she threw through the screen and began bashing the player with it, manically laughing.

The story ends with the dead players head on the main characters lap in her in-game universe.

To start off we wanted to do a cute character and decided on using Mita from the game MISIDE simply because it was trending at the time and was inspired to do a "Virtual innocent girl turned Yandere* Gap Moe* ".

[Yandere*]

Yandere (plural yanderes) (chiefly Japanese fiction) A character, usually a girl, who has an obsessive and possessive side in regards to their crush, ready to use violent (if not murderous) means to maintain an exclusive bond.

[Gap Moe*]

"Gap Moe" is a term used to describe when a fictional character does something that goes against their normal personality, appearance, or habits.

[Character Designs]

Outfit concept art
Outfit concept art

For my contributions for the concept art phase, I started off doing different scenarios for what the game could start off in the beginning. For all of the outfit designs, I made sure to have heart motifs on each of them as we wanted to emphasize the heart shape more for our character.

[01 Date Night]

The fist scenario I could think of would be a date night with the main character where our character would be wearing a cute date night outfit when going out with the main character of our story.

[02 School Girl]

Another concept i could come up with was a classic scenario of the story in the game taking place in a school where she falls in love with the main character. This concept having OTHER love interests other than our character, making the other love interests the catalyst for our main character become a yandere.

This was an unlikely choice thought, for we would need to come up with more character designs for he other love interests for this concept. Though it was fun and interesting, we think that this was too time consuming for our group to do.

[03 Maid]

The concept of the story taking place in a maid cafe was an interesting concept to think about as it would be cute to create an environment for the cafe, mostly having more visual motifs of frills with maid and butler outfits alongside the coffee and desserts that would be placed on the cafe table. I personally like this concept, but as my group mates and I were discussing more on what concept to choose. I thought that it would be more time consuming having to Rig a long skirt and having to 3D model the frilly outfits alongside the cafe environment that has detailed food all round the set.
